Reverend Day Broers-Case came to Brandon Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) November 1, 2005. Before coming to Brandon, she had served as Senior Minister at Fort Myers Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). A lifelong Disciple,
Rev. Day grew up in the Illinois-Wisconsin region, a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Dixon, Illinois.
Rev. Day graduated from the University of Illinois in 1979 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her minor was Human Development.
She taught for 15 years in Brevard County Florida schools and during that time completed her Master of Education degree in Education Leadership (Administration and Supervision) at the University of Central Florida. In 2002, Rev. Day graduated from Lexington Theological Seminary with her Master
of Divinity.
She was ordained on Pentecost Sunday May 19, 2002 in Davis Memorial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where her grandfather Rev. Charles Day was Minister Emeritus.
She is married to David Case and they have two grown children.
Kimberly is married to Clay White and they reside in Jacksonville, FL.
Chris is married to Natalie; they reside in Wiesbaden Germany where he is serving in the U. S. Army. This past October they made Rev. Day and Dave grandparents with the birth of Delia. |

Martha Jones, Administrative Assistant. Martha Jones has been with Brandon Christian Church since June of 2000. She enjoys working with the Pastor, Board, and Ministry Team Leaders. She handles the daily operations
of the Church and can be reached from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Her
background in marketing and public relations helps her in preparing the weekly bulletins as well as the monthly newsletter. She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and currently resides in Riverview with her husband, Ray. |
