Jamie Butterweck, Admin. Assistant

Jamie joined the staff at Brandon Christian Chruch (Disciples of Christ) in December of 2019. Born in PA and raised mostly in NH, he and his family moved to Florida in May 2019.

A lifelong member of the United Church of Christ, he has been an active participant in church outreach and programs most of his life. Jamie has a heart for social justice, with a keen interest in helping those less fortunate and supporting human rights.

It was through a shared passion for helping others that Jamie met his husband, Chris, in 2013 when they were both volunteering at a weekly outreach program. They were married in September of 2018 and currently live in Bloomingdale with their 2 cats, Zoe and Merle, and their dog Brady.

Jamie believes we are all called to live life as Christ taught - to love God with all of our hearts and souls and minds, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. He is thrilled to be part of such a wonderful and dynamic church!
