Sunday School and Faith Groups
Small groups meet to deepen their understanding of Scripture, develop friendships, and grow a closer relationship with God. Group meetings are held at 9:30am on Sundays, and other times throughout the week. Programs are available for children as well as adults.
Worship and Wonder
Two adults each week provide this program for children ages 3-10 during Sunday Worship.
The children hear and experience stories of the Bible in ways that remain in their minds and hearts. This is a Montessori-based program, and all leaders have been taught to use the Montessori method. Special wooden toys are used to explain scripture stories; and the time includes singing, games, crafts, prayer, and teaching.
The children love this program and their leaders!
Nursery
Two dedicated child care attendants are available each Sunday morning to care for our little ones (infants - age 2) in the church nurdery, which is located just inside the Bryan Road entrance. There is a TV in the Sanctuary sound booth for parents to view their child(ren) as they learn and play.
Music
Our worship service blends contemporary praise and worship songs with the traditional hymns of the church. The small Priase Team and instrumentalists rehearse weekly to lead our Sunday Worship.
SMART
SMART gathers monthly at a member's home for food, friendship, and conversation.
Meetings are generally the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2:00pm. SMART does not meet during the summer.
Christian Book Discussion
An interesting book is chosen each month that encourages thought and discussion at a monthly gathering. Book Discussion is generally the second Sunday of the month at 12:45 in the Education Wing.
Food for Thought
This group meets monthly at a local restaurant to enjoy lunch and discuss a controversial topic. The purpose is to practice active listening when hearing and sharing diverse opinions. Meetings are generally the Second Friday of the month at 11:00 am.
